First, let's address something important... while "Frisbee Golf" or "Frolf" are both perfectly acceptable names for the sport, you'll have more success finding resources and information about the sport if you use its proper name... Disc Golf :)
You may not realise it, but disc golf is a much bigger sport, and much more popular than you think. As of the end of 2022, there were more than 14,000 disc golf courses worldwide, growing at a rate of 4.3 courses per day according to UDisc!
More than 19 million rounds were scored on the UDisc app, and when we take into account casual rounds not scored, it's estimated that almost 100 million rounds of disc golf were played in 2022.
When we look at disc golf's older sibling, ball golf, there are estimated to be 38k courses worldwide, and more than 66 million players. While disc golf has a long way to go to catch up, disc golf is already at a tenth the size of golf in players, and well ahead of golf with regard to courses per player capita and growing.
Education about the sport and helping the general population transition from names like Frisbee Golf or Frolf to Disc Golf are helping bring the sport into the public consciousness.
